When I finally was able to read some music notation and how to place the notes it felt really good because I really started to understand music some more. Some of my work became less hassled, not done, but less hassled. I still have problems writing my own music and coming up with my own ideas because this is my first time picking up and music since grade 4 recorders so it's hard to come up with my own song when I have second to none of music knowledge. A highlight of the semester so far was once again when I learned how to place notes and read them in music notation because I always thought it was really hard and never really tried to learn just to copy it down but after finally looking deeper into it it's not that hard, don't get me wrong it's still hard but it's a lot easier now then then. Something i've learned about myself as a musician is that I am a fast learner when I have a teacher who starts at the base of guitar and teaches you things that connect to others to help you with you instrument.

1. Why were you not able to attend and perform the Celebration?
I couldn't perform because my Grandpa is sick and I had to look after him. 2. How easy was it for you to make the choice not to attend or not to perform? Why? It was easy for me to make the choice not to go because the reason I didn't was important. 3. How important is it to ensure you are able to attend planned performances? It is probably really important because it makes me more comfortable performing in public. 4. How are you planning for your independent performance since you didn’t perform at the C of L? Where and when will it be? Who are you inviting and how are you promoting it? I'll livestream it. My room with a camera, December 27. post an announcement on social media 5. What will you do to ensure you are ready and present at the next school performance? I'm not quite sure yet. In this Blog post I will be talking about my website research project which will include the procedure I took to complete it, my SMART goals to help me complete it, my prioritizing, Time management, and procrastination. For my website research I spent at least 30 minutes figuring out what artist's websites i’d research. After those 30 minutes I have decided to choose the following artists: Eminem, Michael Buble, Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar, and Logic. I would then spend 15 minutes looking through the websites to answer this following criteria.
Hey everyone! I just posted a new video onto my youtube channel you can check it out here thanks!
and remember to like, comment, and subscribe :) Firstly I would like to thank you for coming to my blog, blogging isn’t my specialty so I ask that you can bear with me through my guitar journey. I am a grade 10 student attending the cavaliers music academy to become a guitarist, today I will be telling you my 2 SMART goals 1 CMA goal and 1 personal goal SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely. I have never made a goal this specific before my previous goals have always been vague like “i’m going to become good at guitar,” but not anymore so let’s get into my goals. First my CMA goal is to be able to play blackbird by the beetles perfectly without fail. I will practice blackbird for 30 minutes a day 5 days a week for 2 months. My personal goal is to make the school badminton team. I will practice every saturday and sunday for 1 hour a day on my court awareness and smash at Genesis place by walking there because it’s a 10 minute walk. |
